Last of Three Days at Littletown Early Years
Although this time around only allowed for a three days residency in the Early Years setting at Littleton School, I had a wonderful whirlwind of a time making collaborative paintings with Nursery and Reception Children. Acrylic paint and Posca pens were again the materials of choice and once again the imagery was rich and playful.

Drawing at Pontefract Museum - Liquorice Festival
I had a great time today drawing alongside families and individuals at Pontefract Museum with friend and collaborator Lou Sumray. The drawings were all based on objects found in the collection at Pontefract Museum and were compiled into one large scale collaborative drawing throughout the course of the day. This huge drawing will be used as the starting point for a new commission that will see me creating new window based imagery which will be installed across three museums in the Wakefield area (Wakefield, Pontefract and Castleford ).

Poscas and Acrylics at Littletown
Building on the success of last weeks session it was fantastic to work with some of the same children to start creating a body of work with acrylic paints and Posca pens on mdf panels. It's always a pleasure to work in this setting with great children and a fantastic staff team. Great collaborations, great colours and lots of fun! All images captured on the iPhone.

Return To Littletown Early Years
After a long gap of 18 months I had the opportunity to return to Littletown School today for a 3 day project drawing with Nursery and Reception children. What a lovely productive day with a prolific and focussed group. Super fantastic! I can't wait until next week when the colour work begins......
