Day 001 at Reinwood I & N School - Mini Beasts

Yesterday was day one of a four day project at Reinwood Infant School exploring self portraits and mini beasts, with a view to making a short iPad animation with twenty seven year two children. Here are a few images of their starting points and initial sketches.

iCollaborate Day 5

Another day of experimentation, sibling collaborations and parent/grandparent visits to the project. Lots of wonderful team work, experimental mark-making (including the Posca Pen chin technique (see below)), mixed media approaches, great conversations, enthusiasm and a huge creative buzz! Exhausted!

iCollaborate Day 4

Another amazing day in Early Years at Littletown School. Full on productivity working with reception and nursery children, their siblings and parents. Working on paper, etch-a-sketches, iPads, cardboard and the outside play area. Materials included, chalk, paint, Posca pens, pencil, oil pastels and acrylic paint. Wonderful imagery and experimentation, along with collaborative working alongside peers, brothers and sisters and parents!

iCollaborate - Day Two

Another staggering day of creativity with a large number of nursery and reception children getting involved with the project at Littletown, with a core group collaborating with me and each other on a variety of works on cardboard, paper, iPads and again the Etch-a-Sketch. The first two days of this project have put down a firm foundation for the weeks to come! Photographs by Yvonne Roberts.
